Bill Richardson Polling in Double Digits in Latest New Hampshire Poll

Published May 19, 2007

The latest New Hampshire poll shows by Zogby shows that without Al Gore running for the Democratic nomination, Bill Richardson would get 10% of the vote.

Prior to this poll, Bill Richardson was not even polling above 4% so for him to go from 2-4% to 10% is like a quantum leap.

No Longer an Anomaly. "He was polling at or below the margin of error. My dead grandma could have done that well." says David Terr. Bill Richardson is no longer a statistical anomaly. He is a very strong and viable candidate.

Hillary Clinton 28%
Barack Obama 26%
John Edwards 15%
Bill Richardson 10%
Dennis Kucinich 4%
Joe Biden 1%
Unsure 15%
Other 2%

Large Hispanic Voters in Nevada and California. If he can poll this well in New Hampshire, just think how well he is going to do when his message gets out to the voters of Nevada and California whose large Hispanic voters might flock to Bill Richardson.

Richardson is Making History. Bill Richardson is America's first viable Hispanic presidential candidate in our history. Very little media coverage has gone out there to point this out. And based on familiarity ratings, the majority of Hispanics in the United States are not even aware that Bill Richardson is a Hispanic.

Nevada and California Hold the Key. Bill Richardson is running as an American for president. Not as a Latino/Hispanic American for president but his ability to speak fluent Spanish and his Western origins make him a strong fit for Nevada. So for you Bill Richardson fans, take this New Hampshire poll as very good news and a sign of good things to come. If Bill Richardson can win Nevada on January 19 and do very well in New Hampshire. He could just squeak by and win California and completely change the race for the Democratic nomination.
