Possible Republican Candidates
The 2016 election is far away. There are currently no national polls for the 2016 presidential election. If Obama is reelected in 2012, then neither party will have an incumbent in the White House. Many analysts believe that it is unlikely that the current VP, Joe Biden, would be the next Democratic presidential nominee. If a Republican wins the presidency in 2012, he would be the likely 2016 nominee as well. If the divide between the Tea Party and the Republican party grows and causes a chasm that results in a contested 2016 primary, there could be a different nominee. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
