According to a new poll by Rasmussen Reports, Americans are somewhat more willing to pay more money for a cleaner environment. This sentiment is comforting to this author, knowing that Americans still care for the world in which we live. We have been consuming and destroying our natural resources for the longest time, and now is the time to reverse all that. We need to recycle more, use less resources, and find more eficient ways to burn energy.

With Obama as our next president, this author hopes he will start a 'greener' America by introducing legislation that protects our environment. Republican leadership has made it clear that they do not necessarily care for the environment, but change will hopefully come soon. We all need to take care of our country, and in whole, our planet--because we only have one true home, and her name is Mother Earth.
