» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) In a recent CBS News/New York Times Poll, those asked whether they like the first lady or not gave interesting results. It appears that although 49% had a favorable rating of the first lady, a big chunk of those polled felt they have not heard enough of Mrs. Obama to form a valid opinion. First ladies in the past often keep a low key profile, and perhaps this is also the case here as Mrs. Obama goes through the first 100 days of her husband's presidency.
