A month after his inauguration, President Obama continues his quest to change this country around by introducing new legislation and rescinding the majority of the prior president's policies regarding domestic and international issues.

In a recent poll conducted by CNN/Opinion Research Corp., it found that Americans believe President Obama is holding up his part of the bargain. Only 23% feel he has fallen short of his promises.

To change this country around, there will be massive changes and some growing pains we all must endure. President Obama's presidential honeymoon may be over, but his message of change remains constant.

A president's first 100 days in office is a great marker to gauge his/her ability to lead. Truly, in the past 30 days, President Obama has shown that he is more than qualified to take on the issues and face them using principles that will ultimately make this country a better place to live in.
