The Fox News poll conducted May 12-13 had a two way tie between Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney for 2012. But this latest CNN poll has a three way tie with a newbie, Sarah Palin. Many candidates that were included in the Fox News poll were not included in this CNN poll and that could have helped Sarah Palin, indicating that many of Palin supporters would ordinarily defect if they had the choice of another candidate.

That is, IF, we could compare the two polls. But the FOX poll only surveyed a mere 274 voters and carries with it a large margin of error and uncertainty.
