» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) We all want the best for our kids. We all want to strive to give our children the best possible resources and tools so that they will succeed in the future, but with this declining economy, can we really provide for them adequately? According to a new Rasmussen poll, 47% feel that today's children will not be better off than their parents. This is a major change, since this past century has seen America succeed with each passing generation. But, the real question is, can we disprove this poll? Can we as a nation rise up and change our economic plight? The answer is a resounding, yes! Similar to our previous articles, we must not fear, but be cautiously optimistic. The economy will fix itself, but we have to help it along. Our children may not be as succesful as they should, but they will still have a great advantage over those living abroad in less succesful countries.
