» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) Abortion in the US is legal. No matter what the religious and 'upright' conservatives say, it the right of a woman to choose whether or not to keep her pregnancy. In a recent Rasmussen Reports telephone survey, 39% say that it is easy to get an abortion in the US, while 18% think the opposite. To this author, abortion is a very ambivalent topic. It does depend on the situation, especially in cases of rape, incest, or if the life of the mother is in question.
