A recent survey conducted by Rasmussen reveals that Americans are a little hesistant to pay higher taxes in order to provide all Americans universal healthcare. To this author this result is consistent with the general feeling of Americans regarding universal healthcare.

This is a sad revelation for the current state of healthcare in America. Many have gone bankrupt, or more gravely, perished from our crumbling healthcare system and the time is now to change thanking about universal healthcare.

People need to realize that healthcare is a right, not a privlege. Our advancements in science and technology are in contrast to our advancements in universal healthcare.
